RADIATION CITY SIGNS WITH TENDER LOVING EMPIRE

It's my pleasure to announce that Radiation City has officially been adopted into the Tender Loving Empire family! Not long ago our ears and hearts were swept away by the magnificent recordings contained on The Hands That Take You, the debut record from Portland's Radiation City. It only took a few short months before we were completely addicted to this record and had to partner up with it's creators. Radiation City was spawned by Cameron Spies and Lizzy Ellison who also share the stage in other local pop power-houses Spesus Christ, and the Soap Collectors. Spies and Ellison were soon joined by Randy Bemrose (of Skeletron) and Matt Rafferty (of Shotgun, The Intelligence) to complete the sound. We are so incredibly excited to be working with this band of indescribable talent and limitless potential. Tender Loving Empire will be releasing The Hands That Take You in late September/early October.

Don't miss Radiation City's proper induction at TLE's 4th Birthday Party, June 3rd @ Wonder Ballroom. They'll be sharing the stage with labelmates Typhoon, Jared Mees & The Grown Children, Loch Lomond, Y La Bamba, and Boy Eats Drum Machine.

Until then, please have a listen to the track that got us into this delightful mess in the first place, 'The Color of Industry', which will, of course, be appearing on the new record.
 http://soundcloud.com/radiation-city/the-color-of-industry
